To accelerate the process of getting through the lift access terminal,

stored in the ski suit enables the cardholder to be automatically
monitored at all lift access points – so there’s no need to take out the
card and show it anymore, which is both more convenient and time-saving.
The skier only needs to buy a ski pass at the ticket counter, where a
photo is taken and printed on the card, and information stored on the
chip at the point of sale within seconds – all in just one cycle. Before
the skier leaves the resort to return home he hands in the card to the
ticket counter, where it can be reused hundreds of times again.
