CLEARjet’s Student ID Card can be used for identifying students via
readable information on the card and information stored on the chip
inside and outside the university, access authorisation for different
facilities such as PC rooms or libraries and access to the university
database to look up courses or marks, and to apply for exams. If the
card is also equipped with an electronic purse it enables the owner to
pay cash-free at drink machines, photocopiers or in the canteen.
