The major advantage with CLEARjet´s electronic ticketing is the possibility of updating/ renewal of rewritable electronic tickets. There is no longer any need to apply labels for renewal. Instead, you use the same card with its CLEARjet rewrite surface to update/reprint it visually and electronically at the self service terminal. This generates transparency for the card holder, and cuts the cost for the provider.

CLEARjet system can process all kind of ticket types – from thermal paper tickets up to all kinds of smart cards – which also allows a “soft” change from paper to electronic tickets. In addition, electronic tickets can easily be inspected (ID-function) and ticket forgery avoided by electronic validity control.
