ClearJet Client Guide:

How to Export Trailing Shipping Data
(3 Months)

What we need in every export:

  • Ship Date

  • Service Level (Ground, Air/2-Day, International)

  • Destination ZIP Code

  • Consignee/Recipient (name or company)

  • Shipping Cost (net after discounts/adjustments, if available)

  • Weight & Dimensions (per package/label)

Tip: If a platform’s default export doesn’t include all fields, export what’s available and include a second report (e.g., “transactions,” “labels,” or “print history”) that contains Shipping Cost so we can join by order/shipment/label ID.

How to export orders (CSV):

  1. In Shopify Admin go to OrdersExport.

  2. Choose Current page / All orders and set the Date filter to the last 3 calendar months.

  3. Export as CSV. The Order CSV includes shipping address fields (for ZIP/consignee) and shipping line info; cost may not equal carrier label cost if labels are purchased outside Shopify. Shopify Help Center

Notes:

  • If you use Shopify Shipping, additional shipment/fulfillment details may live under Fulfillments or in Order Transaction History CSVs. Shopify Help Center

Field Mapping Checklist (use across platforms)

  • Ship Date: shipment/label purchase date or carrier acceptance date.

  • Service Level: carrier + service (e.g., UPS® Ground, 2nd Day Air®, USPS Priority Mail®).

  • Destination ZIP Code: in “Ship To” address fields.

  • Consignee/Recipient: “Recipient,” “Customer,” or “Ship To name/company.”

  • Shipping Cost: look for label/transaction/print history exports if not in the main orders export.

  • Weight & Dimensions: per package (some platforms store at order item or package level).

If a platform splits data across multiple reports

  1. Export Orders/Shipments (addresses, service level, weights/dims).

  2. Export Transactions/Labels/Print History (actual net cost).

  3. Use the common key (Order ID, Shipment/Label ID, or Tracking #) to join the files in Excel/Sheets before sharing.
